Installation

• On monday.com, click on the views dropdown, then Add view>Apps.

• On the Views Center screen, Click on Explore App Marketplace.

• Search Appgami Story Mappings and install it.

• A new view is added with the name 'Story Mappings'. Confirm the name or change to a name that suits better your needs.

Creating Story Mappings

• Click on New story mapping.

• Fill in the story mapping name.

• Click on Create.

• Click over the story map name to edit/view it.

• Alternatively, you can click on the trash icon to delete existing story maps.

Managing Story Mappings

• When creating a new story map it will display an empty story map as seen in the image below.

• You can start creating the activities and tasks or just click on the Dashboard link to get back to the dashboard.

• In order to get started, click on Create activity to create the first activity.

• Note: Multiple team members can open the story mapping and collaborate simultaneously.

• A new activity is created and displayed on the story map.

• Note: you can drag and drop activities in order to change their position on the screen.

• You can click o the plus icon next to the activity to create new ones.

• You can click over the name of the activity to edit it.

• Click on the plus icon below the actitivies to create new tasks nested under the desired activity.

• Add as many tasks as you want under an existing activity.

• In order to add more tasks, click over the plus icon next to any task.

• Note: you can drag and drop tasks in order to change their position on the screen.

• Under the tasks you can add items. These items can be work items or user stories. Either way, items are mapped to monday.com items available in your board.

• You can create brand new items or reuse existing ones from your board.

• Click on create item to create a new one.

• Type the name and click on Create.

• Alternatively, if you choose to search an item. The link existing item screen is displayed as seen in the image below.

• Type the name of the existing item to search/filter

• Then move the mouse over the desired item and click over it to add under the task.

• Add/reuse as many items you want. Click over the plus/magnifier icon below the item to add/seach more items.

• Note: you can drag and drop items in order to change their position on the screen.

• Click over the trash icon to delete items from the story map.

• Note: Items are not delete from monday.com, they are just unlinked from the story map.
